Your First Appointment
The moment you walk through the door, you’ll be greeted by name, which sets the tone for what you can expect at our office. We take a personalized approach to hearing healthcare. Our office feels more homey than clinical, and we try to make sure you’re comfortable here. You’ll never have to wait long.
When our audiologist brings you back for your appointment, we’ll have a conversation with you about what brought you in. We want to understand where you’ve been having difficulties, what your expectations are, and what you are looking for in terms of treatment.
Then we bring you into our testing booth, which is spacious and comfortable. We will give you a comprehensive exam, which involves looking inside your ears for anything visibly out of the ordinary and then perform a standard tone test and speech test.
We’ll go over the results in detail and answer any questions you might have. We encourage you to ask all your questions so you’re fully educated on what’s going on with your hearing health.
If we determine hearing aids might be a good solution for you, we’ll share what your options are and recommend what we think will best for you. We keep demo units on hand so we can show you what hearing aids look like and how they might feel in your ears.
